The functionality by MUSLIMLIFE takes from week to week. In the center of the service is communication. Starting today, our members, “Standard Messages” is available.
Standard messages are predefined message templates, which other members can be sent. One needs only to the five select one message and send it. The standard messages for standard members, if another member would like to write.
The following messages are available:
- Assalamu alaikum. I just wanted you to say Assalamu Alaikum! Please write back if you want to entertain me. Inshallah we will soon see.
- Beautiful photo. You look at your photo very nice! Mashallah. I would like to speak with you. Please let me know if you try me want to entertain!
- I like your profile. I just read your profile and it sounds fantastic to. I would like to learn more about yourself. Please let me know if you want to talk to me!
- We have many things in common. It looks as if we had much in common. Please write me if you have the opportunity to do so. I would be happy about a conversation. Allah (swt) will guide us … Amin
- Naseeb. I’ve just seen your profile and find you very interesting. Everything is Nasîb (fate), and maybe our mutual Naseeb. If you are interested, then please contact me! Wassalam
These standard messages can be used following standard answers answer:
- Yes, I want to get you to know. I am glad that you express interest in me. I would also like to meet you. Please write me a message! Wassalam
- Maybe we match each other?! Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, I did not much information about yourself on your profile page. I would ask you, your profile as far as possible, and perhaps a photo upload. Maybe we adjust to each other?!
- Please upload a photo up! Your message has arrived. Thank you, I was glad! I would ask you, a photo of you upload. Do not misunderstand me, but I’d like a picture of you want to see. Perhaps one day cross our paths …
- Perhaps another time! Thank you for your message. I’m just another member in contact to get to know him and possibly even to marry. I want this out of respect to a member of any new friendships begin. I hope you understand me and respecting my decision. If there is nothing, then yes, I am still available
- No, thank you! Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, I would like for personal reasons you do not know. I beg you, to respect my decision. Allah (swt) is to you in the search for a partner to help!

Since our launch a year ago in October 2007 MUSLIMLIFE is to a large community has become. If the growth continues so will the 20.000th member inschallah in the coming days to register. We apologize for this occasion with you for your confidence.
We are striving to maintain the best possible service. We are aware that our growth only by good service hold – even further increase – can. At the beginning we could because of the small number of members each member with problems and requests for care. Even the MUSLIMLIFE system ran without problems, since the capacity of the server because of the lower visitors were not busy. With increasing user numbers, giving us very happy, you must also support and supply at a high level.
For these reasons, we immediately next to the free standard membership fee PREMIUM membership. From this date, the free standard membership to communicate with other members restricted. Each member retains its free standard membership, but can become a cheap introductory price to the Premium membership fee change.
We are convinced that the premium membership very many advantages will bring. The proportion of dubious members who simply want to distribute their time, is among the members paid much less than under the non-paying members. They are with the membership fee filtered. The female members are not overwhelmed with countless messages and scared, but can respond to queries. With the premium membership, the reputable members in their search for a partner strengthened. In times of Spam emails, which “waste” the virtual postbox, are internet users are highly sensitized to arriving emails. Each email, which isn’t new or contains individual information, are recognized disturbing.
Many of our members find our alert messages very helpful. The member receives an aler email if someone sends a “SALAM” or leaves a personal message in the virtual postbox. But it disturbs some users nevertheless if each day 5-20 alert mails arrive. Since the last update each member can adjust individually, when and to which cause a alert mail is to be sent.
The property of alert mails can be specified completely in “Account”. So you will receive only these mails which you wish to read.

In the last weeks some performance problems appeared at muslimlife.eu. The gigantic increase of visitors caused the performance problem. MUSLIMLIFE is growing with a fast gain. Due to this new occurrence the database server had to be split.
We decided to migrate MUSLIMLIFE to new servers. So new database and web servers had been setup-ed and configured with the latest MUSLIMLIFE version. New benchmark test was made to find were the limits of the new system are.
On D-Day we changed the nameserver IP configuration pointing to the new servers. The update of the IP took 48 hours. During the update process the service was not available.
We hope to offer a better service with more performance and stability. Meantime the number of users are increasing on.

MUSLIMLIFE offers a flexible solution for his members. Everybody is different and has a different handling with private photos. MUSLIMLIFE members can upload private photos to their profile. This is important to get more contact. But some people don’t want that their picture is shown by default to all. So uploaded pictures can be declared as private. The lock on the picture indicates that the photo is set to private by user.
Of course you have uploaded the picture to show it to other members. So you can give individual permissions to favourite users to see your photo. To do that you can set the picture to “private” after you have uploaded it. You will see another link “picture permission”. Click on it. Now on the next page you will find a table. On the left side you will find your contact list. These users has no permission to see this picture. By clicking to “>>” you can move the user to the right side to the list with permissions. The users on the right side can see this photo. To undo the permission click on the username and on “<<”.

Some messages are being deleted by Administrator because of security reasons. No message is being deleted without reason! MUSLIMLIFE defends you from injury.
Deleted messages look like:

What are the reasons?
- The message is SPAM. It means that the person sends this mail with the same content to hundreds of persons.
- Messages are commercial or submitting mail or web addresses.
- The message is a try for a financial fraud.
If you see a message which is deleted by Admin so be happy that MUSLIMLIFE has defend you for problems.

For any reason you can block any member to block the communication. The reasons are not so important, as each member can decide individiually with whom it comes in contact.
In order to block a user, go to the profile page of the user. Under the profile picture exists a “Block!”. In order to block, you have to click on the “Block!” link.
For communication with a user, the user musn’t be blocked by you. If you want to undo the block, then you can remove the user from “Contacts” -> “Blocked users”.

MUSLIMLIFE committed to protect personal data. It will never publish names, e-mails or addresses to third parties.
The SALAM is an automated message of the service which the user indicates that a member has sent a SALAM. Not a member sends the e-mail, but MUSLIMLIFE. It is only for information purposes.
