Alert messages now with individual configuration

In times of Spam emails, which “waste” the virtual postbox, are internet users are highly sensitized to arriving emails. Each email, which isn’t new or contains individual information, are recognized disturbing.

Many of our members find our alert messages very helpful. The member receives an aler email if someone sends a “SALAM” or leaves a personal message in the virtual postbox. But it disturbs some users nevertheless if each day 5-20 alert mails arrive. Since the last update each member can adjust individually, when and to which cause a alert mail is to be sent.

The property of alert mails can be specified completely in “Account”. So you will receive only these mails which you wish to read.

I receive SALAMs. Is my e-mail address published?

MUSLIMLIFE committed to protect personal data. It will never publish names, e-mails or addresses to third parties.

The SALAM is an automated message of the service which the user indicates that a member has sent a SALAM. Not a member sends the e-mail, but MUSLIMLIFE. It is only for information purposes.

I have received an e-mail. The address is istyahoo(dot)com. My question, what means (dot)?

“Dot” is the dot in a mail like yahoo.com. Generally spam mails are coded like this. Therefore I am asking you to not react to such mails. The intention of these e-mails is to start a conversation and try to sell something or the send trojans or viruses.
